Equipping Care: Leader Resources

Welcome, Leaders!

Thank you for your commitment to helping guide and equip others in the vital ministry of spiritual care. As a leader in Equipping Care, you play a critical role in shaping how others learn to care with wisdom, compassion, and Christ-centered purpose.

The four-part Equipping Care video series is designed to help chaplains and spiritual caregivers grow in confidence and competence as they walk alongside people in times of need. Your leadership will help others engage deeply with the content and apply it effectively in real-life ministry situations.

Leader’s Access

On this page, you’ll find exclusive resources to support your role as a facilitator, including:

  • PowerPoint Slides for each of the four sessions
  • A link to the Complete Leader’s Guide for Equipping Care

These tools are designed to make your preparation and teaching more effective, so you can focus on guiding meaningful conversations and encouraging growth in the care-giving journey.

Session Overview

As a reminder, Equipping Care focuses on these essential ministry skills:

  • Active Listening: How to listen deeply and respond wisely
  • A Valuable Visit: Making each encounter meaningful and hope-filled
  • Grief and Loss: Supporting others with empathy and Biblical truth
  • Boundaries and Burnout: Maintaining emotional and spiritual health while caring for others
